Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, mandates the disclosure of the following data: The web domain owner is Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (hereinafter CTA), one of the partners of the ZEST project, with Tax Identification Number G-91452953 and a registered office in Seville (Spain), Avenue Albert Einstein, s/n. Edificio Insur, 4th floor. CTA is also registered in the Registro de Fundaciones de Andalucía de la Consejería de Justicia y Administración Pública, under number SE/1001, according to Resolution of 31 March 2006, and its contact email is negocio@corporaciontecnologica.com

Privacy policy

Everyone has a right to privacy and protection from misuse of their personal data based on European Directives and the provisions. ZEST complies with these provisions. ZEST strictly maintains the confidentiality of personal data, neither selling nor passing it on to any third party.

In close cooperation with hosting providers, ZEST strives to protect databases against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.

The ZEST website logs your IP address, date, time, browser request, and general information about your operating system and/or browser when you access it.

This user data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluation in order to identify trends and improve services. For more information see Privacy Policy section. 

Cookies

If you leave a message on our site, your name and email address will be saved in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Google Analytics 4 provides a web analytics service for this portal. Cookies (small text files stored locally on your computer) are used to help analyse how visitors use this portal. Servers in Spain will store the collected information, including your IP address.

ZEST and Google Analytics 4 will use this information to generate reports on portal usage. ZEST and Google Analytics 4 will only share the collected information with third parties when legally required to do so.

ZEST and Google Analytics will not combine your IP address with those of other websites or other data sources.

Data protection

Data and information entered by users will be treated confidentially. By registering, users explicitly consent to receiving information from ZEST based on their specified profile. Processing of personal data will always comply with the applicable data protection laws. A photographer will be present at the events, and there’s a possibility of capturing some video footage. Images and footage will be used for internal publications, websites, and promotion of similar events in the future.

Security

The website uses generally accepted information security techniques, such as firewalls, access control procedures, and cryptographic mechanisms, all of which prevent unauthorized access to data.  In order to achieve these objectives, the user/client explicitly consents to the provider obtaining data for the purpose of corresponding access control authentication. Any hiring process or others that involve the introduction of sensitive personal data (health, ideology, etc.) will always be transmitted through a secure communication protocol (https://…), so that no third party has access to the information transmitted electronically.
