The new project emblem consists of a mushroom in the shape of a house with the phrase ‘Fungi Fermentation supported by Digital Modeling’ as context.
This announcement marks an important landmark in the visual identity of the European initiative.
Within the communication and dissemination strategy of a project, regardless of its nature, the first step is to establish the visual identity of it, starting with the choice of the acronym and followed by the creation of the logo. ZEST, supported by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertake (CBE JU) initiative, is proud to announce the launch of its new logo, marking a significant milestone in the project’s evolution.
The design of the logo, the result of several months of work and exchange of ideas between the members of the consortium of the European initiative, features a mushroom in the shape of a house with the phrase ‘Fungi Fermentation supported by Digital Modeling’ as context.
Less is more
Simplicity, memorability, and versatility. As a crucial item of the project’s brand identity, its design reflects ZEST’s purpose, goals, and thematic, avoiding overly trendy elements to ensure that it remains relevant and effective for years to come, without frequent updates. In addition, the colour palette (water green, navy blue, and earth brown) evokes specific emotions and meanings that are linked to the project’s topic and funding programme. The font has not been chosen lightly, either, as the aim is to be clear and easily legible at various sizes, facilitating the scalability of the logo whether it’s used on a small app icon or a large outdoor promotional material.
The new logo will be rolled out across all digital and physical platforms along with the other logos of the European funding programme.
