The online session allowed both projects to identify shared challenges and discuss future collaboration.
Representatives from the Danish Technological Institute (DTI), coordinator of the ZEST project, and CTA, the Spanish cluster responsible for the project’s communication strategy, held a virtual meeting with members of the EPIC-SHIFT consortium to explore potential synergies and collaboration opportunities.
The online session offered both initiatives a valuable chance to identify shared challenges, complementary research areas, and avenues for future cooperation. Given that both projects are aligned with bioeconomy-focused innovation, the dialogue reinforced a mutual interest in knowledge exchange and cross-project collaboration. As a result of this initial contact, EPIC-SHIFT will participate virtually in the upcoming ZEST General Assembly, which will be held in Riga on 11–12 June.
